Dear CCM Friend,

I pray you’ve had a good week. These past few days have been significant in the life of our church and community. We have been observing this week many different remembrances for our nation’s Veterans, beginning last Sunday. On Tuesday, Covenant Christian School presented a deeply moving and important service where students honored the many Veterans in attendance.

Family Night was, as always, a blessing. Thanks to Carma McDowell and the entire Hospitality Team for doing such a great job, and for all of the group leaders and facilitators. As an expert in the field, let me say that the Chicken and Dumplings were some of the finest ever made by anyone, anywhere, anytime.

We’ve had some powerful things happening among our young people this week, and we have also welcomed home our Mission Team from Acuna, Mexico. In fact, this Sunday, we’re going to give an opportunity for them to share some amazing, thrilling testimonies.

Also on Sunday, I’m going to be continuing in the message, “The Battle Belongs to the Lord.” This is a season of breakthrough … plan to be with us and invite a friend or someone who needs prayer, encouragement, and ministry. We’re going to do something a little different with our time of praise and worship this week, so make sure you arrive in plenty of time to prepare your heart. Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM and the Worship Gathering begins at 10:30 AM sharp.
