Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus! I want to briefly share some good news with you and also to ask for your continued prayers.
This Sunday, August 23, 10:30AM, we are going to be focusing outward as we here from two great heroes in the faith: Iris Hermois, who is a missionary to China and is active in fighting against child trafficking; and Larry Neese, who is preparing to return to ministry in Kenya. Both have powerful testimonies that will touch your heart, and we want to take the opportunity as a church family to pray over them Sunday. It is an honor to bless what God is blessing.
The following Sunday, August 30, 10:30AM, renowned songwriter and worship leader Don Poythress will be ministering at CCM with music and stories of what God is doing. Don’s music has been recorded by a diverse collection of notables including Willie Nelson, Clint Black, Hank Williams Jr, Jaci Velasquez, The Martins, Sir Cliff Richard, and many more. His new CD, “Wash Away,” was released this Summer by Integrity Music, and Don has been traveling extensively across the country in concerts and seminars. Get here early for that service, and please bring a friend!
Other upcoming events include our Labor Day weekend prayer service, Sunday September 5, and the Men’s Retreat September 25-26. Remember to visit the church website and participate in the August Call to Prayer at www.covenantmobile.com.
Let us know how we can serve you in these days!
In Jesus,
Stephen Simpson
Senior Pastor
