What about Easter?!

Christmas is awesome!  It’s great celebrating the birth of our Lord. We give gifts and eat great food and get together with family and friends. 

But what about Easter?  How do we celebrate Easter? Isn’t the death and resurrection of our Lord just as important as His birth? The cross of Christ is the key to our redemtption, and without the resurrection there is no hope.

I remember getting chocolate bunnies for Easter, and for Christmas I remember getting a Nintendo and a bike.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad for the chocolate bunnies, but are we doing enough to celebrate the holy day? 

 I myself will hide Easter eggs,  and hopefully most of them get found before the lawnmower finds them.  We’ll eat a few Cadbury eggs, and pick Easter grass off of everything.  I remember my mom making a delicious ham with pineapples on top for Easter. 

I hope you have wonderful memories of Easter, and that this one is no exception.
